The Supreme Court is reviewing the treatment of Bengali-speaking individuals suspected of being undocumented migrants, seeking clarity on deportation practices.
Why This Matters
Legal rulings regarding human rights and citizenship resonate widely as they affect the fundamental rights of citizens.
Public Sentiment Summary
Public sentiment presents a dichotomy; while a faction supports the Supreme Court's ruling as a protective measure for Bengali-speaking individuals against discrimination, another significant group expresses anger regarding deportation practices, highlighting human rights violations and a lack of trust in government actions. The discussion reflects deep polarization, with themes of nationalism and concerns for individual rights taking center stage.

Very good
Good Judgement by HONOURABLE Chief Justice of Supreme Court. Of India.welcome the Judgement.
Mass detaining citizens of your own country to pick out 10 Bangladeshis, fuck bjp man
Very interesting that in order to find illegal immigrants with Bangladeshi documents they are willing to tear up the documents of Indian citizens as part of their coercion tactics.
This should worry anyone. You are making these people stateless by just pushing them over the border into Bangladesh without due process. This is cruel, imo.
